The MG Hector still runs on a 1.5-liter petrol engine that has 141 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of torque. It can be operated using a six-speed manual or a CVT. Meanwhile, the diesel version has a 2.0-liter engine with 168
horsepower and 350 Newton-meters of torque, and it only comes with a six-speed manual gearbox. These engines meet the BS6 Phase 2 standards. It's important to mention that many advanced safety features (ADAS) are not accessible in the diesel models.
