The MG Hector can be powered by two different engines. One is a 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine that can produce 143 horsepower and 250 Newton-meters of torque. The other is a 2-liter diesel engine with 170 horsepower
and 350 Newton-meters of torque. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual transmission as a standard option. If you choose the turbo-petrol engine, you also have the choice of a CVT gearbox instead of the manual transmission.
